Rusty is not a moderator, that is a green user title, not black. Green user titles are supports of the site who have supported it with articles etc back when it started, I do believe.
To OP:
Yes it's entirely possible, people have done it already, and people have done it in 6 months or less (depends on how good you are, ie: don't expect to do it in Divine record time.)

3-6 = a few... 3-6 million = a few million
don't be intimidated by big numbers.
1 = single
2 = couple
3-6 = a few
7-12 = a bunch
12 - 50 = a lot
50 - 100 = a whole lot
100 - 1,000 = a butt load
1,000 - 10,000 = a shiit load
10,000 - 1,000,000 = a fuxxing shiit load
But i did think he meant a few million ectos until i read it again.
The time it takes all depends on the amount of life you have.
Before i got a girlfriend i would play around 12-18 hours a day
Before i accidentally got my girl pregnant i used to play 8-12 hours a day
before my baby was born i used to play 4-8 hours a day
now that i have a baby i play 0-2 hours a day
I could make a bar graph illustrating how the increase of my life led to the decrease in my GW playing time.

I'm at 26 atm, & if I really put forth the effort I could max 3 titles by new years, & max title # 30 by the end of February. So I'd say ya, it's possible, it just depends on how much effort you wanna put into it. Those that don't wanna work on it are gonna cry about it's impossible, those that wanna work on it either have done it already & are working on doing it on other chars, or have done it & are waiting for GW2.

That's one way of looking at it, but then again in the last 4 months since I came back to GW and started going for titles, I have saved enough cash by not going to the pub 3 nights per week to put a new central heating system in my house. And my liver is thanking me on a daily basis.
So the grind works just fine for me.

Probably could if i give it my guess but are we forgetting something?....you don't need to grind these titles...you don't need them in gw2 ...
and ofcourse, you can obtain them afterwards aswell

My main is currently at 16 titles maxed, and I suppose it is very possible to reach 20, maybe 25 titles. The last rank though is unlikely because I don't ever farm, so maxing out the money titles will take a very long time (Sweet Tooth for example). I also don't enjoy HFFFing much, just do some AB whenever I feel like it, so getting higher than my Rank 6 Kurzick is very unlikely - still 10 Million faction to max the title out, lol!
Besides, I'm "wasting" too much time with PvP, where titles are pretty much impossible to max out (Gladiator, Hero, Zaishen being my fav ones).

people stop suggesting pvp titles he's saying within the year or two til the release of gw2 those titles cannot be reached within the time unless you are already progressed enough in those tracks. hardly anyone can say they are a maxable title unless anet decides to nerf the tracks.

It's possible, just need to have the cash to stay drunk while vanquishing/ect. and need to have the cash to be able to max sweet tooth/party animal.
If your devoted it should take 3-6 months depending on the time you can put in.

Its easy to get in a few months. As well you can still work on it after GW2 comes out. Not like if you don't get it before GW2 comes out it doesn't count.

The HoM will actually be locked down after GW2 release.

No it won't.
ANet has explicitly stated that one may keep adding achievements after GW2 releases.

I think the confusion from that stems from the statement that once a HoM is linked to a GW2 character, it will be locked.

For a short period of time. Perhaps a grace period of 30-180 days.

cake? no
possible? yes
i wouldnt reccomend it unless you already dont have a whole lot going for ya as far as real life is concerned.
i think the average player doing titles every day would take about 6-8 months to get 27. the last 3 can be bought, and if you use the easiest ways to get cash during those 6-8 months you can get the 3-4 mil fairly easily. but in the end its honestly a massive waste of time unless its really what you want out of life

I work 50 to 60 hours a week, so my time is limited. I got 31 max titles in about 14 months. I did the kurzick fff in place of survivor. Also helped with the money to get sweets. But it is doable. I did learn one thing though from my experience in title grinding. The next MMO I play, either GW2 or SWOR, I will not title grind again. It made me start to really hate the game. Not the games fault but mine for getting the GWAMM title.

title grind
Oh one more thing I might add is if its possible always take advantage of the weekend events they do to work on titles for often you get double rewards on those events.
